Swimming

Today Samantha and Michaela came to Glen Innes School because they saw a post about our school in need for swimming togs. So they decided to help us, they asked for their mum for permission and of course her mum couldn't say no for helping another school. They told us about themselves and they won a lot of trophies along the years. Samantha and Michaela are very competitive swimmer and they took some time from school to help us learn to swim. Thank you so much.

In reading my group is learning about Prefixes and Suffixes so my teacher assigned us to this website.This is my score for Prefixes and Suffixes. I got 5/5 because they were so easy. But I think that I should still learn some prefixes and suffixes.

Working in a group

WALT: Solve problems involving patterns On Wednesday  in maths we had to finish your work on patterns. I worked in a group of 8, we were all helping each other so we could finish it. But it was really hard because question 3 was hard but we finished it in time. It is better for me to work in a group because others help me.

Making class rules

Walt: take responsibility for the class rules.

I think it is necessary to have class rules because without class rules the children wouldn’t listen to the teacher, respect others and nobody would be learning anything. It is important to have class rules so you know what to do and what not to do.The rule I find difficult is to stay on task, it is really hard for me because I always daydream or I don’t know what to write. The rule I find easy is Follow the teacher instructions because I do it everyday and all the time. Well I think the consequences should be you get a warning 2x , if that doesn’t work send the child to another class but same level, then go on detention. I don’t like some of the rules but rules are rules and you have to do them or face the consequences.
